MILITARY AVIATION MUSEUM ENDOWMENT

National Historic Aircraft
Foundation (NHAF) has entered into an agreement with Military
Aviation Museum, Virginia Beach, Virginia (MAM), whereby NHAF is
undertaking to create an Endowment for MAM.
The initial goal is $10,000,000, the income from which
will serve to offset continuing maintenance expense of MAM's fleet
of airworthy historic military aircraft.
NHAF is engaged in a major effort to complete the above
goal prior to the end of 2010.
NHAF's strong interest in this activity is based on the
fact that historic aircraft in flight project a true and vivid
example of their character - as contrasted with the many museums
with "static" displays.
The following pictures show the Military Aviation
Museum along with examples of its aircraft.
